Information and advice abound in today's information age. No less so in the world of career management. Tips for resumes, techniques for interviews, tactics for the job hunt ... there is no deficit in information.
But is it all sound and reasoned info? I suggest that no, it is not all worth heeding.
There are articles that exhort you to stop using some words, and to add others to your resume, that infer if you do what the writer suggests, your job hunt will undoubtedly be more successful.
My advice? Stick to two simple rules: be authentic to who you are, and be truthful.
